Virginia Tech Baja Sponsors

Welcome to the official website of Virginia Tech Baja. Our team's mission is to design and construct a single-seat off-road vehicle to meet the rules set forth by SAE. After thorough testing of a prototype vehicle, a production vehicle will be fabricated and subsequently entered for international SAE sanctioned competition. This year, the Virginia Tech Baja team will be participating in the East Regional Competition in Greenville, South Carolina as well as Winter Baja in Michigan.

Weekly meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30AM in the Performing Arts Building on campus, Room 105. Volunteers and potential future Baja members are welcome. If you have further questions, please contact the Membership Chair.
